Tea Party

We had Hope and April over for a sleepover this past weekend. We all had fun! They had a little "tea" party w/ water and Teddy Grahams. They each had a Kid Cuisine for dinner, and later that night, we watched Wild Hogs (per Hope and April's request). I forgot how cute and funny that movie is. Anywho, here are some pics of the "tea" party. They're so cute!

New Furniture

We've been in the market for new furniture for a while now. We've gone to the furniture stores, but everything we liked was way out of our price range. We wanted leather and something really comfy! Our current stuff was pretty much trashed (Ally had pooped, peed, or puked on almost every inch of it). Okay, it's not THAT bad, but we were just ready for something new. Well, Mary and Doug came over for breakfast on Saturday morning and told us they found some stuff. Brown leather couch and loveseat in really nice shape. We were sold! They also generously paid for some of it as an anniversary present for us. They are so generous. Here are a couple pics. I'd like to get a new area rug and some new curtains and pillows, but you get the general idea. It was everything we wanted: leather, and SUPER comfortable! If you need me, I'll be at home laying on my new couch. :)

School Days & More

Ally started her first day of preschool at Northern Voices yesterday. She was so cute w/ her lunch box and backpack (which broke on the way out the door, gotta love Wal Mart). She totally cheesed it up for the camera.

This picture was taken when we went to Stillwater with my mom and dad for the day. We ate lunch at the Freight House, and sat and watched the boats go by. Not a bad day!

This was after she got her face painted (it was $.50, so I wasn't expecting a masterpiece) at the Mounds View Festival in the Park. It was a cute little festival with food, booths selling goods, and games for the kids.

Is Summer officially over? It's only going to get up to 70º today. Oh well. Adam said we can open up the windows next week when his allergies won't be so bad. It seems like a crime to have the A/C on when it's 70º out. I hope everyone had a great summer and I'm really looking forward to fall.
