Macy's Nutcracker

This weekend, we went to Macy's Downtown and saw the Nutcracker display. It was very cool! The 20 minute wait in line was well worth it. Ally said "wow" more than a few times. All the pictures can be viewed at:

One Terrified Kid

As promised, here is our family photo with Santa Claus! Notice the look of sheer terror on Ally's face - can you imagine if she was actually sitting in his lap? Yikes! Oh well, one day we'll look back and laugh at it, as I'm sure she will. I can't beleive Christmas is only 2 weeks from today, and my 29th birthday is on the 22nd (wink, wink). I have about half of my Christmas shopping done, I guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend. Take care!

Medtronic Children's Holiday Party

Good Morning! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, we sure did! My company (Medtronic) throws a Children's Holiday Party every year and we went for the first time this year. It was so much fun! They had crafts and games for the kids, goody bags, and of course, Santa Claus. We waited in line for Santa for a good half hour. When we got up to see the big guy, Ally had a death grip on me! Needless to say, it ended up being a "family" portrait. Oh well, it should be cute. I guess if I was 2, I'd be scared of a big guy in a beard too. He wasn't the friendliest Santa. I will post the picture as soon as we get it. The snow on the ground definitely gets me in the Christmas spirit! We put our tree up yesterday and I love it. Talk to you later.

Our big girl

Ally's 2007 school year picture from Northern Voices.
How much cuter can she get?
Alright, I'm biased, but cute!

Walkin' in a Winter Wonderland

Me and Ally went to my mom's last weekend to hang out (as we usually do one day of the weekend). My mom and dad went outside to hang lights on the tree out front. Of course, Ally wanted to go outside in the FREEZING cold, so I bundled her up and we went outside. I just thought she was so cute in her furry hood. The second picture is one of my favorites. The picture would be even better if there were snow on the ground. I think that wish just might come true this weekend. Be safe, everyone!

Turkey Day @ Northern Voices

Ally's school had a Thanksgiving day feast. The kids prepared almost all of the food (w/ teachers help, of course). They also made turkey crafts, including the hat Ally is modeling in both of these pictures. Look at my cute little turkey in that first picture. Beleive it or not, she was happy in the second picture. She is posing with one of her awesome teachers, Susan. Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!
